Freeheel Life Shipping Policy
I run a small, independent operation here at Freeheel Life — not a warehouse, not a big-box retailer.
I take a lot of pride in getting your gear out the door quickly and accurately.
Processing & Shipping Days
Shipping happens Monday through Friday.
- Most orders ship within 24 hours
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM (noon) on Fridays will ship the following Monday
- Weekend orders ship starting Monday
If you need something by a specific date, leave a note at checkout and choose an appropriate shipping method.
Shipping Rates & Options
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and selected service.
I offer shipping through:
- USPS
- UPS
You can preview shipping costs by adding items to your cart and entering your address at checkout.
Insurance & Delivery Timing
- Shipping insurance is available upon request for an additional cost
- Some UPS services include guaranteed delivery dates (based on ship date)
If your order is time-sensitive, reach out before purchasing so I can help you choose the best option.
Used Gear Shipping
Most of what I sell is used or vintage Telemark gear.
Because of that:
- Items may ship in repurposed packaging
- Packaging may show wear — that’s normal
- Each item is handled individually
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address:
- Buyer is responsible for reshipping costs
Lost or Delayed Packages
Once a package leaves my hands, it’s with the carrier.

- If something looks off, reach out and I’ll help however I can
International Shipping
I’m happy to ship internationally.
Please read this carefully before placing an order:
- You are responsible for all duties, taxes, and import fees required by your country
- I cannot mark packages as “gift” or adjust values to avoid these fees
- All shipments include an invoice with itemized values
International Shipping Options & Expectations
USPS First Class International (Economy Option):
- Available for orders under 4 lbs and $400 USD
- No guaranteed tracking once the package leaves the U.S.
- Not insured for loss or damage
- Typical delivery is 1–3 weeks, but can take up to 6–8 weeks
- No delivery guarantees — delays at customs are common
This is the most affordable option, but it comes with risk.
International Shipping Notes
Once an international package leaves the U.S.:
- Tracking may be limited or unavailable
- Delivery timing is outside my control
- I am not responsible for delays, customs holds, or lost packages when using economy shipping
