This may not be as important for the newbie Telemark skier, but it’s especially important for someone that is coming from a previous boot that may be older, beloved, hated, fits perfect, or doesn’t fit at all. Either way, we have the knowledge and ability to help you continue on your Telemark journey with the right product.

What Can I Expect When I Book My Professional Telemark Boot Fit & Sizing?

We’ll want to start by chatting with you a little about your history with Telemark skiing or if you are just starting. We will also discuss what boots you may currently have or enjoyed in the past and what are your goals and objectives with the new boot you are looking to purchase.

From there we are going to correctly size you in order to establish your mondo (mondopoint) sizing. This ski boot sizing system was developed by the ski industry to create a universal sizing system. Mondopoint is calculated by the length of one's foot in centimeters, from the heel to the big toe.

We’ll also determine the following:

PERFORMANCE FIT: Recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers who ski regularly and at higher speeds in all conditions.

STANDARD FIT: Recommended for beginner to intermediate skiers who ski less frequently and at lowers speeds.

Once the correct boot size, model, and fit are selected our staff can also perform a boot heat mold on boots that have a thermofit liner. This will further customize the fit and feel of the boot specifically to you.

How Long Will My Fit & Sizing Appointment Take?

We book 1 hour appointments with customers the ensure that there is ample time to discuss everything, fit and size the boots, etc.

What Do I Need To Bring?

To better prepare you for your appointment, please bring the following items:

1. BOOTS: If you are moving from a previous Telemark boot, please bring the pair of boots to the fitting with the liners in them.
2. SOCKS: Please bring a pair of ski socks that you would normally wear when skiing.
